Ben - LINGUISTIC DIFFICULTIES

There are some cats and kittens that live in our flat car park and Ben is always amazed by them and always wants a close look. The problem is they always run away when they see him come nearer and then they hide under the car at which point he goes onto his hands and knees and shouts, "Come out!"

I was explaining to him that cats don't speak or understand English but the problem was, I couldn't tell him what language the cats DO speak. Do you call it cat language? Or do you call it miaow-ing? If you have any ideas, I'll be more than happy to clarify it with Ben next time we have the cat language conversation.
