story - A DURABLE TARGET

Our poor old Nissan Sunny seems to be a target of parking accidents these days. Only last week, did we get it repaired after one of our bible study group members reversed into the side of it (for the sake of his driving reputation, I shall leave Jeremy's name out) after rushing to get to a work meeting. He was probably more distraut over the inflicted injuries on his Honda Accord which had only been re-sprayed only 7 days earlier!

Then this morning, a young college girl over cooked her reverse manouver and put 2 fine dents in on the other side of the car!

The good news is that the father of the daughter is willing to pay for the repairs which is roughly about RM200 according to the garage, he told me to go to (near Komtar). The bad news is that we will have to leave it there for 3 days (Weds – Fri) which means life is very tricky for Yin Ping in terms of getting to and from work.

But our car has wreaked its revenge by leaving a nice layer of white paint on the side of her Proton Waja! I joked with the wife that if enough people keep crashing into our parked Nissan all the repairs and resprays might cover the scratches, that students of my mother in law put, on the side!
